[Entry] Dungeon Quest

Make a text-based game. It can be anything you want, so long as it only uses text and unicode characters. It can be web, console, or whatever else. Check the board for rules!

I thought of a nice name for my game, Dungeon Quest. Well, it's better then 'Unnamed'

Here's a little screenshot, I'm working on the UI.

Why are some of the letters blurry and other letters completely aliased?

Got some basic tilemaps done :)
It only supports 40x80 maps for now. When I add a camera system it will be able to support larger ones.

Also planning on a in-game level editor which you will be able to access by adding '-editor' as an argument.

TODO:
- Clean up the code
- Collision
- Camera System
- FOV
- Level Editor
...//

It looks like you are off to a good start! :)

To clarify: on your TODO list you mentioned lighting. Are you actually doing lighting? Or were you meaning field of view?
