Wisp is a Avoid-the-things-falling-from-the-sky (blue thing) game.
The kicker is that you are trying to save a uncooperative wisp (yellow thing)
the player must push the wisp out of harms way.

this started out as just a tutorial that I kept adding things to.
random things include the random placement of the blue things.
(sorry its not very random or proceduraly generated, but i'm so excited that i want to share it)

I just need to figure out a counter for how long the game has gone for in the bottom corner so people can boast about how well they did.
then I shall post a link to it. (sorry Linux and Mac users i can only learn one thing at a time)

The shortcut in the top directory doesn't work. The "Start in" field is pointing to an absolute path on your desktop. It works fine by running AllTheFiles\Wisp.exe
The background image is beautiful. What kind of effects or whatever did you apply to get that look?
I wish there were a way to jump to the other side of the wisp quickly. I also think it would be a lot more fun if you varied the falling speed of the falling things.

I'm really digging those graphics. Even the stick figure has some nice animations (especially the idle animation :p). Nice job on the game, it's simple yet very unique.

all the pictures were made with Gimp. in general i was using a fuzzy brush with a lot of jitter. it would not be hard to randomize the speed of the falling blue things. I am very excited to have figured out the basic graphics side of things.
